Report: Third day of summer camp. (22nd may 2025) Today, with the coolness brought by the rain, the summer camp at Ascent Public School began with a meditative morning of yoga, focusing on nature and body awareness. Pre-primary students expressed their creativity through origami and enjoyed playful moments in the water pool. Art and craft activities involved creating home décor items using pistachio shells, promoting the values of recycling and sustainability. During the dance session, students performed energetically to Bollywood songs from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. A mehndi session added a touch of traditional charm, while the multimedia session introduced students to the basics of Adobe Photoshop, encouraging digital creativity. Cooking activities included the preparation of Pav Bhaji and Lassi, fostering teamwork and enjoyment. The Sports session featured cricket practice to enhance physical fitness and team spirit. Personality development exercises challenged students to form stories based on given clues, enhancing creativity and communication skills. The robotics session introduced students to the basic functioning of machines, sparking curiosity in technology. All activities were designed to promote the inculcation of refined habits and positive values among the students.
